SocialWorld ("we", "us", "our") is a multiplayer social platform operated by VoidNova. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our software and services.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name through our authentication provider (Clerk).
Device identifiers: We use Epic Online Services (EOS) Device ID authentication to establish peer-to-peer connections. This generates a unique device identifier stored locally on your device. No Epic Games account is required.
Network data: To facilitate peer-to-peer connections, we process IP addresses and NAT traversal data. Peer connections are brokered through Epic Online Services infrastructure.
Gameplay data: We collect in-world position data, trust tier status, and moderation actions (blocks, mutes, reports) to provide the service.
User-generated content: Avatars, world objects, and other content you create or upload are shared with nearby players via peer-to-peer transfer and may be cached locally on their devices.
We use the following third-party services:
Account data is retained while your account is active. Cached content is stored locally on your device and can be cleared at any time. Moderation data (reports, blocks) is retained as needed to enforce platform safety.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at privacy@voidnova.org. You can clear locally cached content through the application settings.
SocialWorld uses peer-to-peer networking. When you are near other players, your device communicates directly with theirs. This means your IP address may be visible to other players through the P2P connection, similar to other peer-to-peer applications. EOS relay servers are used when direct connections are not possible, which helps obscure direct IP exposure.
SocialWorld is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
